Regionally-Informed Template for Western Canadian Wood Construction Systems in the ArchiCad Environment. This is our first ArchiCad template file. If your studio is a power user of ArchiCad and you would like to test some of our next-to-publish content and give us feedback, please send us a note at info@offsitewood.org An array of slabs, columns, beams and objects of various standard sizes for the North American market, pre-defined with Building Materials and set with pen-weights, fill patterns (sectional), and image shaders (rendering) for accurate, scaled, WYSIWYG 2D and 3D display. Laid out on the home screen of the file, on the main story level, with linked Document or Layout Book for easy toggling between 2D and 3D and Layout Book views. Additional classification by CSI Specifications categories. Additional Building Material Physical Properties for both BEM (Building Energy Modelling) and early-stage Lifecycle/Carbon Analysis. We are also curating a small library of advanced wood-framed wall systems that can meet the guidelines put forth by BC Housing in their "R22+ Effective" wall detailing manual.  
File Download Instructions
It is necessary to add the Library Container File (.lcf) to the ArchiCad Library Manager in order to be able to view the western wood materials (such as Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, and Engelmann Spruce).
