What's in these files?

This file contains a variety of high-performance wood-framed walls, each one carefully crafted to meet the most rigorous requirements for both carbon and energy efficiency. These R22+ effective insulation wall systems are drawn at a lower LOD (Level of Detail) so that they will remain lean and efficient during early phase modeling, but are precisely drawn so they can be submitted for prefabrication detailing reliably.

The wall objects are categorized based on various parameters such as thickness, insulation, and finish. Each wall type is also optimized to provide preliminary data for downstream carbon estimating tools, while maintaining flexibility for customization.

This file contains 3 Wall types:

- Split insulation wall

- Double stud

- Deep stud

Moreover, this ArchiCad file comes with an accurate Material Library of Canadian woods representing regional fabricators and others materials with company specific options. Materials include environmental data for carbon benchmarking practices. Let the Offsite Wood team know if you have created a project for which you want a more detailed calculation or a regional fabricator list.

File Download Instructions
It is necessary to add the Library Container File (.lcf) to the ArchiCad Library Manager in order to be able to view the western wood materials (such as Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, and Engelmann Spruce).
