Market-fresh BIM content

We build lean and efficient Revit families for use in your studio workflows, and all the accessories too, from textures, to detailing, to template files and sustainability data updates. Our download area can carry even more than the plug-in, so be sure to check back and see what’s new!

Offsite Wood Revit Toolbar

We are creating a free Revit add-in to help model wood elements. It can frame openings and entire walls, and suggest offsite panelization guidelines as well.

The goal isn’t to replace specialized framing applications used by the offsite wood industries, but to provide a free, light alternative for studios to learn and estimate quantities. This can be helpful to anyone using Revit.

All wood elements can be included in schedules, and the quantities are a useful jumping off point for downstream calculations like sustainability, energy modelling, cost, or LCA. It is also used to send models to our Offsite Optimization Portal (see below)

The Offsite Wood Revit Toolbar is now available to download for everyone! Download it and try it first by clicking on the button below.

Be the First to Try Our New Portal : Offsite Optimizer

We help architects optimize offsite, modular, and prefab wood construction with our new collaborative portal: Offsite Optimizer. Powered by Speckle, an open-source platform with an active development community, it works like a multiplayer video game or Google Doc — enabling real-time collaboration even for stakeholders who don’t use Revit or want to avoid constant file sharing.

The Offsite Optimizer starts by calculating a panelized enclosure layout with regional presets and transport logistics. Users can select detailed wall compositions and cross-reference them with map data for snow loads, seismic risk, and coastal exposure. Dashboards for logistics, carbon data, and cost analysis are in development during our beta phase.

Would you like to join our early release? Space is limited, but if your firm works on multi-family housing using Canadian wood construction systems, we’d love to explore beta testing and project support with you and your team.
